I can't show anything on the screen while a package installation task fails

Description

While I'm trying to install some packages and the package installation fails, I could not see any errors on the screen.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install the Atom on your device
2. Try to install a package, in my case the was this one

Expected behavior:
I was expecting that while the installation was failing due to any problems, I should see something on the screen. I should mention that I know I can track the errors through the terminal but there could be a small explanation about it at least

Actual behavior:
While the installation was terminating there was nothing on the screen and the small installation box was vanishing.

Reproduces how often:
In my case that was the connection problem interrupting the installation process
