I've moved away from the git-up gem package since it's deprecated, in favor of git up = pull --rebase --autostash. I just added that to the gitconfig here: https://github.com/atomantic/dotfiles/blob/master/homedir/.gitconfig#L60

the git-up gem is no longer in the package list in the config.js file, so if you update to the latest, it should skip that part.
