This gem is an omniauth strategy for integrating an omniauth powered app with Authic, a hosted identity service and Oauth 2 provider.
In your Rails 3 applications Gemfile add:
gem 'omniauth-authic'
Run bundle install from the command line:
bundle install
Configuration is much the same as any other omniauth strategy. The obvious addition is 'subdomain' which is required by Authic and setup when you subscribe with the service.
Rails.application.config.middleware.use OmniAuth::Builder do
provider :authic, <your authic client key>, <your authic client secret>, :subdomain => <your authic subdomain>
end
If you haven't already done so, be sure to read about omniauth. It contains important information about how to setup you app for using omniauth and its strategies.
Refer to authic_client for a working example of omniauth-authic. Authic_client is a Rails engine and the preferred method of integrating a Rails 3 app with Authic.
