I use a password manager (1password) to store my password and copy it to the clipboard. I can paste the password using right (control) click, but i can't use cmd+v to enter the password.

Does this work when using Safari to log into a Google account? Perhaps this is Google blocking the action?

I think that the issue has to do with the menu bar not popping up when I launch the app.
This is what it looks like when I sign in: (was last using safari)

Ah this is likely because the login prompt is handled by a background daemon, without which there would be no way to synchronize between multiple Parrot app extensions and the main app, or do background fetching. This may not be something I know how to fix yet, so I'll keep this discussion open.
