This release contains some bugfixes from the original release that came with the first batch of SteelePDBs:

  • fixes Double line issue - mostly when using PAL cameras or Runcam cameras
  • Backwards compatibility: If a KISS FC FW version older than 1.2 was installed the OSD would not work. Please note that the menu is disabled if you are using an older KISS FC version, so you will not be able to change PIDs, Rates, vTx channels etc. But you can still see the Voltage, Amps and Mah and you can configure the battery warning by flashing the config tool.

The firmware package also includes the config tool, which lets you add/change features included in my OSD FW. The KISS OSD Config Tool V2.2 video in the first post of this rc-groups thread will give you a good overview of what can be changed/added:

Which version should you use?
If you have a SteelePDB: the SteelePDB V2.4RC4.3
If you use a minimOSD, PiggyOSD, microOSD (etc.): KISS OSD V2.4RC4.3
if you have a Helix vTx and run KISS: Helix vTx KISS OSD V2.4RC4.3
