log_shadow_file_location is not used in setup_environment_variables function, but later is referred in harden_ssh_security function without setting it.

log_shadow_file_location, bastion_mnt and bastion_log are not setup in setup_environment_variables function. But later log_shadow_file_location is referred in harden_ssh_security function without setting it before. Guess it was misplaced at some point.
