Unexpected server response: 500

I have deployed the app to cloudformation, and when I try to connect to the wss endpoint, I get

Unexpected server response: 500

When I had the app installed from the automatic AWS deployment, it worked fine, but not when deployed via aws cloudformation

Nevermind, I was being an idiot.

I had actually modified the table to add a sort key, and forgot you have to send that data as well, and I wasn't, causing a DynamoDB error. console.log to the rescue!
