fix: Fix integration tests for remote test events #6002

Which issue(s) does this change fix?

Why is this change necessary?

Some integration tests failed in determined circumstances

How does it address the issue?

Only "assert" for the error message. Clean up schema for test events at the beginning of the tests.

What side effects does this change have?
