Crop Icons

We should replace dots with crop icons.
Stephanie has agreed to make these crop icons; she says she will talk to Adrian to work out a due date with you.

Symbolizing the data based on crop won't be as easy as just coming up with images. Some farms produce more than one crop, so we'll need to come up with a way to symbolize multiple crops per farm. We could use a clustering algorithm to cluster multiple points (crops) on a master point (farms), but that could get messy on smaller screens.

That’s why Stephanie came up with a cornucopia icon idea. It’s tempting to get crazy and try to be accurate and give some depiction of the exact crops, etc, but no way. That just unnecessarily complicates things. But if a cornucopia is an eleventh icon representing multiple crops and we stick to that, we should be in fair shape unless this causes problems with some of the filters. Unless there’s something I’m not seeing (a very real possibility).
