Configuration Types

Configurations are made up of ordered settings of plugins. Rules, actions, components, reactions, and events are all examples of plugins that Rules provides.

In a Rules UI, users can choose from many types of data, logical operators, and functions for constructing configurations.

Each one can serve a pluggable and reusable need when used in combinations.

Components are stand-alone Rules configuration that can be called from reaction rules, other modules and also programmatically from custom
