Note on Default values

An image field allows a default value, and the core user picture settings also allow a default value. If a field that is selected for the User picture field has a default value when saved, and the core default value setting is empty, the value will be copied into the core setting. Please note there is the possibility of different default values if these are edited separately, and join in the discussion here if you have an idea or information to contribute:
