If you define a flexible template, the region widths are hard-coded as percentages. Even if there are no blocks in a region, a gap is left where it would normally be.
Should we consider an option in the "Configure Row" settings to allow making them adapt to whether or not there is content? So if a sidebar region has no content, the other regions in that row grow to use up that space?

This seems like it would be a pretty common need / use case. However, having not put flexible layouts to use yet I'm not sure how important that is. Also, not sure how difficult it would be to add this.
@laryn I had assumed the flexible templates were using the already existing css layout file. So perhaps your question is more general? Or was there already a class for this?
