[UX] Views-provided blocks: Better settings and help text for things that are being exposed via the "Allow settings override" #4582

This will be an iterative improvement, as I haven't yet fleshed out every possible thing that may need tweaking, but here's an example from the block that will be introduced as part of #146:

Things that can be improved:

  • The "The text can be modified within the view configuration." text could provide a link to the view, so that people do not pogo-stick around the UI trying to find it.

  • Filter options: should be checkboxes instead of select (better UX, since single clicks are required, instead of CTRL/COMMAND+click to select multiple).

  • Pager options: the nasty Drupalism that is the "0 to display all results" help text should go away (I understand that this needs to be fixed in the Views UI end). We should have a similar UI as with limited/unlimited values for fields:

  • Another thing that will need to fixed in the Views UI, is the title of the dialog for the "Allow settings override" setting itself (and add some punctuation in the help text while at it):
