Welcome to the PyBakUP wiki!

This project is in the VERY pre-alpha stage, but I hope it becomes a very user-customizable system for backing up important documents.

Some of the key features aim to be:

• Cross platform operation - It will work on any system that can run Python 3.2
• Ease of use - It will invite the user to customize every part of their experience while still having intuitive default functionality.
• Its own scripting language designed for both programmers and non programmers - This language allows even the conditions for each file's backup to be fine tuned with many options specific to PyBakUP
• Ability to backup to any drive that can be recognized by the system

My goal

A simple customizable backup system that is good for all users. I want a free tool that is powerful, lightweight, and easy to use. My hope is to bring PyBakUP to a level that will give people the price they want, with the power they need.
