There is no option to use raw SQL query condition. #5451

I think this specific approach might not be the most consistent with how other criteria modifiers work, but I know there's a lot more we can do to make Waterline more powerful. |
That's why some developers have to use Sequelize (or even just Knex) instead of Waterline even in Sails projects. |

Model.find({ where: 'raw sql' })
.For example, it is possible in Sequelize:
Model.findAll({ where: Sequelize.literal('raw sql') })
or in ActiveRecord (Ruby on Rails):
Model.where('raw sql')
It will be very flexibly and useful!
