$subject. It seem to pack a few unwanted dependencies there as well. For example, Antlr/HTTP libs etc...

These were added to support config passing and the observability by default.
ex. org.ballerinalang.toml.antlr4.TomlParser used by config module and com.squareup.okhttp3 for supporting default observability requirements. We will review the current dependencies in ballerina runtime again.
