Could not save

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I simply tried to save the default program. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the ability to save. it failed. it did not save. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Vista 32-bit

There is an incompatibility in the current GData API that prevents documents 
created in the new version of the Google Docs editor from being editable by 
third party apps.

I don't understand, if that's the problem, then why everybody except me, can 
save documents in latexlab in the same room on exactly the same computers :D

Jac, make sure that in Google Docs, the setting to use the new version of 
Google Docs is unchecked. Also, documents previously created with the new 
Google Docs editor are not currently editable.
