@purcell Even if this and the other Emacs related pull request get merged magit-wip is still to preferred over this. So I recommend you point users requesting git-wip-mode to be packaged to magit-wip instead. |

With these changes, the file can be installed as a package in recent emacs, and can be added to MELPA for even easier installation.
