pow is working but request.domain returns localhost #443

I've installed pow and it correctly redirects myapp.dev to my rails app but when I call request.domain it always returns localhost. Subdomains aren't working because the domain is always localhost. Any ideas? Thanks.

My bad. It's working fine. My app was making additional requests with a hardcoded localhost.
