The source for OpenATOR is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/agpl-3.0.html) - see individual source files for confirmation of this license. The use of intermediary programs or interfaces including file i/o is considered remote network interaction. This does not imply such arrangements do not constitute derivative works.
Because of its BAI origin and maintenance, OpenATOR is licensed under the AGPLv3 (unless indicated otherwise for any particular file), which gives you key liberties and responsibilities.
