Missing input file '//tools/jdk:SingleJar_deploy.jar'

I'm trying to play around with the Android stuff (which I realize is very alpha at best right now), and I'm hitting an error about a missing input file: '//tools/jdk:SingleJar_deploy.jar'. This appears to be an implicit dep when using android_binary rules.

Is this something that is supposed to be checked in, or can I grab it from somewhere?

This is normal '//tools/jdk:SingleJar_deploy.jar' is built by bazel compile script. It should be in the tools directory of your bazel install. What do you have in your package path? (bazel info package_path)

It's %workspace%.

Are you running in a clean copy of the github repository? If so, do "./compile.sh tools $(which bazel)" to bootstrap only the tools part.

Ah, I think I missed a compile error before, which is likely the cause here:

I just updated, and the only modification I've got is a change to WORKSPACE:

Plus I've got a symlink for my project at the top level because I has having difficulties using Bazel otherwise.

Is Bazel maybe picking up a version from somewhere else?

resolved on IRC. The problem was the path to GCC. Fixing it in the CROSSTOOL file fixed the problem.
