Emacs 25 - Package Errors Prelude #947
Comments
I experienced the same issue with Homebrew version of the emacs |
I suppose this issue was already fixed. Please upgrade to latest version. |
Can confirm that latest prelude works with emacs 25:
|
Got the same error with |
Yes same as @BrunoBonacci Fresh install of emacs and prelude on ubuntu and logito error still exists. |
Same for me. Even removing logito dependencies have the same error for another package:
Adding |
After an update of the upstream Emacs version this appear to be fixed. If nobody else is experiencing this issue I suggest to close the ticket. |
There is an error on ubuntu using snapshot emacs insalling prelude.
Warning (initialization): An error occurred while loading ‘/home/sayth/.emacs.d/init.el’:
error: Error retrieving: https://melpa.org/packages/logito-20120225.1255.el "incomprehensible buffer"
To ensure normal operation, you should investigate and remove the
cause of the error in your initialization file. Start Emacs with
the ‘--debug-init’ option to view a complete error backtrace
i have found a similar issue on spacemacs syl20bnr/spacemacs#3854
The solution on that issue is to add this to the top of the init.el file
(load-library "url-handlers")
I tried this as a solution for prelude, it however doesn't work for prelude, any ideas?
