As Node 14 is no longer supported with security updates from 30 Apr 2023, we should drop support for the library in the next major version.
Like the Node version itself, users still on Node 14 would no longer receive updates as we cannot ensure compatibility past this time, nor would it be correct to devote time to that.
In dropping of the support, we should look to stop testing this version from CI and change the node version in the README and package.json.
