Issue on both APS1 and APS2

What happens on the APS2? I thought the default marker state was low on the APS2, so that it would work even if we did not emit a marker LOW instruction.

Also, did some combination of 492c14c and 7a3adc0 fix this on the APS1? I can't reproduce this for the APS1.

Default state is low on APS2 and @blakejohnson seems to have fixed the APS1. Closing issue here.
