Reports

• Reports are generated daily, M-F, but each report contains 31 days of data. (Originally it was meant as a daily report).
• Reports can be found an S3 bucket on the production AWS instance called "pcc-recon-reports".
• The title of each report indicates the date range.
• Each report includes all of the payments/deposits which were either matched or set as exception within the dates specified on the title, as well as any payments/deposits that are currently pending or in progress. - Pending means we haven't tried to match it yet, or if it is stuck pending for a while it usually indicates an error with the data (i.e. we have received a payments file, but it has a location id which does not exist in the locations table and so it couldn't be matched.)
  • In progress means it had been attempted to match, no match has been made, but we might get data tomorrow that will match in (in the case of POS). Cash usually sits in-progress for a while, since the deposits are often made a number of days after the payment has been recorded and submitted.
• On the first Monday of each month a pre-signed url is generated and included in an email that is sent to SBC.
  • This link will download the monthly report
  • The link expires after 7 days, but reports can be manually retrieved from the AWS S3 report bucket at any time.
