Currently the script is crashing on some dates. Examples:

suspect this issue relates to data being available on a given date for Viirs, however the specific area that we need to download is not. To be verified.

Wasn't able to replicate the failure locally. Added logic to the GHA to allow other unrelated jobs to continue if one of the matrix builds fails. Default behaviour that was in place was fail-fast which causes all jobs in the matrix build to fail, as soon as a single job fails.

ended up updating the action used to build the mamba env in the matrix job as a result of the old action becoming deprecated.
