Ableton doesn't auto-add Button into Automation list

Bug description

If you click on a Slider in the ScopeSync VST plugin hosted in Ableton Live, it automatically shows its parameter in an automation lane. This doesn't work for Buttons.

See, I told you sliders were better for discrete values!

Tbh, I didn't even no you could do that in Ableton Live. I thought you had to configure parameters in the device bar before you could access them in automation lane so that's my excuse :p

I notice selecting a parameter mapped from a button there selects it in the automation lane so it looks as though it's definitely an issue with the button widget.

We use them for Sliders, but not for Buttons (as it wouldn't really make that much sense for them)
