@dscorbett Are Yat and Yeri semantically related? I.e. the shape of Yat actually contain a Yeri, or just coincidence?

I don’t know whether they are originally related, but they have shared the same basic shape for centuries, so it would be reasonable to make them share a character variant feature. Compare Latin ⟨H⟩ and ⟨P⟩ with Cyrillic ⟨Н⟩ and ⟨Р⟩, whose shapes are unrelated but which use the same feature in Iosevka.

Here's Ubuntu Mono, but for the record it's better that we not entertain its toothless corner variant for the r/n shape part of yat:
