IncU is a trip planning sofware that caters to both the visually and the non-visually impaired. Considering COVID data, IncU suggests safest hotels and activities for you. With IncU's smart assistant (ISU), booking travel has never been simpler, faster, and more efficient for everyone. IncU stands the test of time for people of all abilities. The future of travel is not virtual, it is not visual, but it is inclusive!
- Xcode 12: IncU is an iOS app that will be intergrated to the American Airlines app. It will enhance user experience when planning trips an
- Teradata: Navigated the Teradata platform and used Teradata's API to get COVID data to display hotel suggestions for users to see. Suggested hotels were based on the areas with less COVID cases.
- Natural Language Processing: Used to create a experience where users can plan their trips verbally and without lifting a finger.
The following required functionality is completed:
- User can click the "Plan Trip" button on the American Airlines app
- User can search for a city they would like to travel to
- User can use a voice assistant to plan their trip
- User can view a list of hotel suggestions to visit based on their input destination
- User can view a list of hotel suggestions to visit based on Teradata's COVID information
- User can hear can hear list of hotel suggestions to visit based on their input destination
- User can hear can hear list of hotel suggestions to visit based on their input destination
The following stretch features shows the power of IncU:
- User are recommended flight options based on COVID data to help them select safer flights
- IncU can plan trips from the start to finish (with transport to and from the airport
- IncU can suggest trips based on past trips, or based on previous user behavior
