CSS Selector & Specificity Cheatsheet

A cheatsheet to reference regarding the types of selectors and levels of specificity within CSS.

General Information

The assigned purpose of the project was to create a a cheatsheet for HTML or CSS features using the HTML table element.
The cheatsheet includes CSS selectors, the specificity of those selectors, and an example of how to write them in CSS. The project was developed for the Build Your Own Cheatsheet Project, part of the Full-Stack Engineer Career Path in Codecademy.

Project Objectives

  • Build a cheatsheet to document at least one HTML or CSS topic
  • Use HTML table to display the information
  • Use a custom color scheme
  • Use custom styles for HTML tags or CSS properties or values
