About TRex Dynamo Plugin

TRex is a bundle of tooling libraries chaining the production, TRansformation, usage and EXport of IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) model exports. It currently wraps

• Bitub TRex
• Xbim
• and Assimp

to provide visual custom nodes nodes for IFC transformation and export.

Installation requirements

TRex is a Dynamo plugin and requires Dynamo 2.12+.

First: Don't install BitubTRex via Dynamo package management. It doesn't work! Download a released prebuilt package of TRex Dynamo from Github and unzip it into the Dynamo AppData roaming folder.

Second: TRex doesn't work with DynamoRevit due to some version conflicts on the logging backend. Use DynamoCore and DynamoSandbox!
