You must have Go, Docker, and Node.js installed.
To verify installation, run the following commands:
go version
docker -v
node -v
Use your preferred method of cloning the repository to get the WhatIf project within your go/src folder.
Navigate to the whatif
folder
cd whatif
Install all necessary Node.js dependencies
npm install
Start up the front-end server
npm start
The front end will serve on http://localhost:3000.
First, ensure you have a .env file with the appropriate UFL CISE Oracle Database information and ensure you are connected to the Gatorlink VPN service so you can connect to the database.
Navigate to the server
folder
cd server
Run Docker compose to setup back-end server and Air live-reload
docker compose up
The back end will serve on http://localhost:8008.
