You'd like to contribute to the development of Elian Wide Capitals Light? Excellent!
There are a couple ways to do this.
If you don't know how to make fonts, please feel free to make an issue on this repository.
If you do know how to make/edit fonts, please feel free to create a pull request with your changes.
In your issue, please include:
- any complaints or changes you would like to propose
- any relevant screenshots, preferably with circles and arrows and a paragraph describing exactly what the issue is
- any or all changes that might resolve this issue
Here's what to do:
- Fork the repository on GitHub
- Make your edits using Fontforge
- Save your edits into the existing .sfd file, but don't re-export the font files.
- Make sure that the file can successfully be exported as TTF, OTF and WOFF:
- no self-intersecting characters
- no "non-integral points" errors
- fix common font problems automagically
- Make sure that the file can successfully be exported as TTF, OTF and WOFF:
- If so desired, add your changes/name to FONTLOG.txt. (an example FONTLOG)
- Commit your changes.
- Open a pull request between your fork and this repository, being careful to describe what changes you make.
- Please include screenshots, with notes describing exactly what the changes are.
The version number will be updated after merging, as will the compiled font files.
