Python 3 is the future! (And is much nicer than python 2). At some point we should add python 3 support.

What do you think needs changing? since i only have python3 set up, I could try to see how far I can get to implementing the simplest possible example in python3.

What i don't know is how to set it up so that its compatible with both python 2.x and 3.

Right now we're waiting on boto to be ported to Python 3.
