CoreELEC is a 'Just enough OS' Linux distribution for the media enthusiast, providing an efficient solution with a small disk and memory footprint that, combined with cutting edge hardware support, delivers a complete Kodi Entertainment Center experience.

While CoreELEC officially only supports the following devices:

  • Khadas VIM3
  • Khadas VIM3L
  • Minix
  • Beelink

there is also an ever growing selection of Amlogic soc S905X(n) based devices which have been reported to work with CoreELEC. Support for these devices is provided by the CoreELEC User Support Forums.
