I want to learn / set this up at iseek, so I may as well put it on the list to talk about. :)

An aside: There is probably a broader, interesting topic about looking at things like shake, bake, xmonad, opaleye, etc to examine the properties that make haskell an awesome language for DSL that compose little bits together to make a user specific version of a system. That talk could be really cool, if the points were distillable and accessible enough.

A general look at haskell build systems could be interesting, esp. with GHC moving to Hadrian. See also Build systems a la carte: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/uploads/prod/2018/03/build-systems.pdf
