[3.0] When timer elapses, it still shows Stop

Describe the bug
When the timer elapses 3-2-1-0, the Stop button is supposed to change state to Start (works like this on 2.7)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Start timer for 3 seconds, let it count down

Expected behavior
Stop button should turn into Start

Stop remains red
