How to Read RSS Feeds Using Firefox

The RSS extension "Feedbro" is a recommended extension for Mozilla Firefox.

Using Firefox, install the Feedbro extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/feedbroreader/

Run the Feedbro extension. In recent versions of Firefox, the shortcut for Feedbro will be inside the folder with the puzzle-piece icon.

(In other versions of Firefox, the Feedbro extension may be found on the toolbar of the browser.)

Click Feedbro to launch the extension.

Click "Open Feed Reader":

Click "Add a new Feed"

Find some RSS feeds that are interesting to you. Here are some Web pages that list RSS feeds published by some Canadian news organisations:

You can find more Canadian news RSS feeds by using a Web search, for example:

Copy a URL for a feed from one of your preferred sources, paste the URL into the "Feed URL" box. Click Save.

You will see your new feed added to the left side of the window.

Click the name of the feed to see the news. ^_^
