We are thrilled to introduce version 2.11.0 of the Binho Mission Control App. This update includes several enhancements and new features designed to improve your experience and expand functionality, particularly with the addition of several CCCs and UX/UI improvements.

What's New in 2.11.0

  • CCC support extended:

    • Adds support for several CCCs.
    • Includes explanatory tooltips for each CCC to enhance user understanding.
  • UX/UI improvements:

    • Implements base-specific suffixes for Write buffer fields.
    • Restricts copy context menu to Transaction Log view and device's table.
    • Improves buffer input masking by filling with zeros when necessary.
      • Example: In the context of octal base input, if a user presses the number 2 and then presses a period (.), the displayed result will be 002.
    • Implements mechanism to show currently selected numerical base in Write buffer's tooltips.
    • Enhance legibility of hyperlinks across the app.
  • Supernova Guide: Adds pinout signal names detail.

  • Logging capabilities: Extends logging to the process in charge of rendering the UI (before we were logging only backend events).

  • Firmware Update Dialog:

    • Adds option to disable Firmware Update dialog.
    • URL now redirects to the firmware releases' section in the Customer Support Portal when firmware is near compatible.
    • Updates dialog's title to "Firmware is incompatible" when firmware is not fully nor near compatible.
  • Fixes:

    • Empty response when performing a BROADCAST SETMWL with Supernova.
    • Inconsistency of DIN values between terminal and table views in the Nova GPIO interface.
    • Anomaly when formatting multi-byte SPI Write data in Transaction Log view.
    • Issue when hard disconnecting the Supernova when I3C view is open.
    • Write buffer was unable to update when leaving an incomplete byte and navigating back to the buffer's view.

  • Flexible Input Base Selection: You now have the flexibility to choose your preferred input base in the settings. Options include binary (base 2), octal (base 8), decimal (base 10), and hexadecimal (base 16). This selection will be consistently applied throughout the app, making data entry more intuitive.
  • Log View visual enhancement: Failed commands will now be highlighted in red in the log view. This visual enhancement makes it easier to identify and rectify issues quickly.
