Helper functions
This section is reserved for any classes or functions that sit outside the scope of the main API. This could mean they do not accept buddy objects as their primary input or that they have a more general 'housekeeping' purpose. There are no hard and fast rules about what belongs here, although, if the function is named in the UI it should almost always go in the main API section.
