e.g. {'input': ncbigene, 'output': uniprot, max_no_api: 4}.
This path couldn't be displayed on the sankey plot.
But if we change the max_no_api to 3, it can be displayed.

Looks like an issue with the plotly side. But needs to be further confirmed.
