It seems like it would be helpful to create a small playground to:

  1. Demo the conversion from ADF (Atlassian Document Format) content to mdast (Markdown Abstract Syntax Tree)
  2. Interactively test & develop

I can imagine a small React-based playground/ subproject which provides an Atlassian rich-text editor and allows live-viewing the resulting ADF JSON, converted mdast representation and the resulting markdown.
