Introduction

  • Kids:Bit is a BBC Micro:Bit housed in a cute-cat, programmed for Kidspring
  • The sole purpose is to help Kidspring children engage in reciting the Bible memory verse of the month.

How to Use Your Kids:Bit

  • Slide the power button at the back side to the right to power on.
  • Press [A] to show the current texts.
  • Press [B] to go to the next texts.
  • Touch [eyes] to change the sound mode.
  • Shake to throw a dice.
  • Slide button to the left to OFF.

  • (smile) THEREFORE
  • (rabbit) IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST
  • (duck) THE NEW CREATION HAS COME
  • (giraffe) THE OLD HAS GONE
  • (cow) THE NEW IS HERE!

How to update the program

  • Keep the Kids:Bit turned off.
  • Connect the Kids:Bit to your computer using your USB cable.
  • Observe that a new drive, for example [D: MICROBIT], is created.
  • Download the HEX file to the MICROBIT drive.
  • That's it. Now, you may disconnent your Kids:Bit.

How to change the battery

  • Kids:Bit requires two AAA batteries.
  • Pull the battery pack gently from the Cute-cat battery holder.
  • Slide the battery pack cover to open it.
  • Replace the two AAA batteries.
  • Close the battery pack cover by slide it back.
