Introduction screen keeps showing again even if disabled

Describe the bug
I've installed gromit-mpx. Every time it launches (by console or by autostart), it shows the introduction screen (what it is / when to use it ). I keep untoggling the Show again on startup and hitting apply, however nothing seems to happen. The introduction screen closes (which is expected I guess) and if i close the process and start it again, the introduction appears again!

I even tried to strace it but i couldn't find any file access attempts when hitting apply.

Expected Behavior
The introduction screen shouldn't appear again after restarting.

I've also tried to start it with sudo (thinking it might not be able to write some config file) but doesn't seem to work

Hi, thanks for the report! That's most likely a dupe of #114. TL;DR: You have to do a proper exit via menu or Alt-F9 for the setting to be saved, doing Ctrl-C from the terminal or killing won't save at the moment. So, please subscribe to #114 for further info.

If however the setting is not saved on "orderly" shutdown, this is indeed a bug, please post your answer here so we can re-open.
