Describe the bug
I tend to have a lot of tabs open - more than enough to fill the entire top bar. To find the tab I want, I'll move my mouse to the tab bar and use the scroll wheel (or the touchpad equivalent) to scroll left or right.
When I upgraded Firefox to version 123 (and Firefox-UI-Fix to commit
e0b9f198
), leaving my pointer over the bar for more than a second causes a box to pop up and show a preview of the tab. As soon as this preview box becomes visible, I can no longer scroll through the tab bar.I've worked around this by setting
browser.tabs.cardPreview.enabled
to false inabout:config
(it was set to true by Firefox-UI-Fix'suser.js
script, line 285). This is good enough for me - I actually prefer not having the previews - but I'd imagine there are people would like to both see previews and scroll through their tabs.Expected behavior
I should be able to scroll through tabs even if a tab preview box is visible.
