thanks so much for the quick help. i appreciate it very much. However, should i expect the GPUS to stop warning me that hardware acceleration is not set-up when it is working?, or should this just be trusted from cpu-usage? However looks like i'm having extremely similar issues to this #8658 The axis camera streams work with mse when the ffmpeg: parameter not used in go2rtc. if not using the ffmpeg: parameter, the bosch camera does provide a stream whether the hardware acceleration arguments are present or not but it is not utilizing hwaccel either way, the cpu usage is ~90% for a 1920x1080 stream at 5fps this is still a huge improvement from before where it would only work on the stable build so this is definitely helping me in the right direction. Frigate Logs go2rtc Logs docker-compose.yml config.yml bosch cam ffprobe garage ffprobe (error because the ffmpeg: parameter doesnt seem to work) front door ffprobe |

Hey, Edit: You can ignore the message that hw accel is not set up. I didn't implement the necessary changes for frigate to detect this yet... |

I Was able to update the kernel package with
It turns out the main problem i was facing was also limited functionality with specific cameras (Axis PkII) that would not work with hw accell on. However it seems to be resolved in the new 14 beta 2 so i'll close this and open something new if something else comes up! |

Describe the problem you are having
Need some help trying to get this going. I have confirmed it all is working without utilizing hardware acceleration, but when I try to utilize hwaccel it gives errors.
i've noticed that getting hwaccel with this board working in general seems difficult with other applications as well so maybe i need to have specific distro/kernel and then map the vpu properly?
The files below is after a fresh install of armbian 24 and other minimum settings. It doesnt work when utilizing go2rtc either, logs more or less produce the same errors though. can provide if helpful

ffprobe will give proper information with hwaccel off on the stable build. upgraded camera firmware as well as troubleshooting step
