Hi @blakeblackshear , just noticed that this is removing a section in the docs/development/contributing.md page where it used to have instructions to modify the API_HOST value to run the web frontend against a non-local backend. Is that intentional? The link to that section is still in the same page.

Yes. The CORS headers were removed. You modify the proxy in vite.config.js now instead.
