FakePlasticTree

Braintree is a payment gateway with it's own gem and great support.

We decided to abstract the gateway a little further for our specific uses and made a thin layer in front of that gem. This allowed us to mock those calls for faster and more dependable tests.

FakePlasticTree is that mock and has some dynamic behaviors, for example remembering the amounts authorized to act appropriately on later capture. It provides the Gateway class with the following methods.

FakePlasticTree::Gateway

create_customer(hash)
create_card(hash)
auth_only(hash)
auth_capture(hash)
prior_auth_capture(transaction_id, amount)
prior_auth_void(transaction_id)

All hashes are the same ones used to talk to the Braintree gem.
