To reproduce:

  1. Open PatternPaint, select BlinkyTile setup
  2. Change the pattern playback speed to 99
  3. Plug in LightBuddy / BlinkyTile ball
  4. Ball will momentarily light, then freeze up
Expected: Patterns will play back, very fast.

Able to reproduce on Windows 10 and macOS 10.12

BlinkyTape, BlinkyPendant (v200 and v300), and EightByEight do not freeze, this is likely a firmware issue

Specifiying a max framerate >200 seems to freeze the BlinkyTape :-D
