You may mark one html element in the template with this id. The element will have certain styles applied to it such that the steem banner for the selected profile displays as the background, centred and with no-repeat. It can also be used as a hook for further styling by the theme creator.

Other profile information may or may not display on top of this background, as defined in the html template and corresponding css of the theme.
